How It All Started

With experience in sporting events, TV shows and concerts all over the world, Blind Squirrel Productions has seen it all.Blind Squirrel Productions was founded in 2020 when the COVID pandemic made clear there was a need for professional quality streaming production. Originally focused on entirely remote productions (where presenters and participants alike were at home), we’ve expanded to include hybrid and on-premises production services as well.

With 35 years of broadcast TV experience, Geoff Butler is a 5-time Emmy Award winner who served as technical director for Sunday Night Football, two Super Bowls and 5 NBA Finals and has directed NBA for the Sacramento Kings as well as Olympics for NBC.

Michael Santasieri

A seasoned broadcast professional with more than 25 years of broadcast experience, Michael Santasieri is a remote and studio technical director for CBS and NBC.

Ben Shapiro

Ben Shapiro is a multi-Emmy Award-winning television audio engineer and leads the BSP IT and networking team.
